Weekly family friend dinner ideas!
A regular Sunday morning post series where I share what we had the past week, our edits, and reviews.
5 family friendly dinner ideas a week…
I’ll be linking to the page I found the recipe on because I surely am not making recipes up myself.
This week we focused on things we could prep before hand or have leftovers of and took a few recommendations.

These were great. We originally tried to fry them and they disintegrated. So baking is the way to go. You could have these around to put on a salad, stuff into a pita, or eat alone.

I LOVED this.
Clearly I like salmon recipes, but I had no idea how a blueberry sauce would go. It’s the perfect amount of sweet and tangy from the vinaigrette. Healthy and interesting. This will be made over and over in rotation with the other salmon recipe I’ve mentioned before.

We have had this previously warm, and I prefer it that way.
Before adding the egg, I would toss the pesto noodles in a pan. It’s great cold, but with the Fall weather I like warm dinners.
We used to use a hand spiralizer and it’s not the most fun ever. We just got this food processor with a spiralizer and guys, it’s life changing. Life. Changing.

Yes. Yes. Yes. So good. A crock pot win. We broiled them at the end for the max amount of time to get them super crispy, but I’m craving these again as I write this. Being from Miami, Crispy Pork Carnitas are heaven. I could have these for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
This was also Jeff’s favorite. He loved the Taquitos too but he said this wins because it was as easy as it gets.
Try them.

We are testing these out to see how they freeze after the fact because it said it made 12 and it made 20. Clearly the 3 eaters in this family, don’t need 20. All I could think when we were eating these is “This is basically the best dip and chips ever.” The filling is practically speaking, spinach and cream cheese dip. You can 100% make this filling for a Saturday Game Day dip and bring a bag of chips. It will be gone in no time. That would be my suggestion. All – don’t plan this for a week day because frying anything takes forever.
