Weekly family friend dinner ideas!
A regular Sunday morning post series where I share what we had the past week, our edits, and reviews.
5 family friendly dinner ideas a week…
I’ll be linking to the page I found the recipe on because I surely am not making recipes up myself.
This week we focused on things we could prep before hand or have leftovers of and took a few recommendations.
Keep sending those over!!

Stuffed Peppers
Dear Chrissy
Delicious and even better as left overs. I heated one up the next day and could’ve eaten two. I’m wondering if you could even make these and freeze them for those rough days when you are home alone and 8pm hits and you realize everyone is starving.
Fantastic.

Homemade Ramen
Me & Reegs
We have been making this for a few years and it’s different every time. What I love most about it is that it’s basically a kitchen sink dish. Corn, bacon bits, kale, chives, eggs, mushrooms… whatever you got, go with it.
Reegan will crush these eggs too… as will I.

Giant Turkey Meatball Parmesan
Skinny Taste
THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD.
A new recommendation from Kathy C! Thanks for those! So good. We were a little weirded out by just making one huge meatball, but it makes it so soft. Best meatloaf I have ever had hands down.
You can use the left overs for sandwiches, and my sister-in-law even recommended making this recipe in a muffin tin and freezing them. Very smart. I’m having left overs of the meatball dinner as I write this. Try this one for sure!

Butternut Squash Lentil Coconut Curry Soup
greens & chocolate
This was so great!! Delicious, vegan, baby friendly, toddler loved it, and felt like Fall. We peeped everything in the morning and it was as easy as a cooking show segment to put together. Just dumping things in as you go.
Definitely a new seasonal staple.
I did have a half a can of coconut milk left so I googled what to do with it and found this helpful guide. I decided to make coconut milk ice cubes for my coffee!

Deep Dish Pizza
Jeff Maruo on The KitchenFood Network
Not healthy at all, but delicious. This is what Fridays and Saturdays are made of.
We do not make the dough ourselves. Ever. Publix has a fresh pizza dough in the bakery section; next to their fresh baked bread is usually a little refrigerator with bags of dough. One dough will do you.
We also use Publix Premium Marinara Sauce.
This is cheap, quick, and easy to make for a ton of people. If you are having a sleep over or movie night try it! Throw in some pineapple and get crazy!
Reegan loves laying out the pepperonis and dumping the cheese in the pan.
