PERIOD CUPS

Me & Reegs

“At first I thought "Oh H*ll no!"...  but now I’m never going back.

First Impression

"That thing is not going to fit inside of me, and it definitely won’t be comfortable." It was harder and larger than I thought. Sure they made it pink, that’s cute… but they couldn't possibly be serious.

Before Your Period

Boil it for the recommended 4 minutes (not over 7 minutes!) Put your cup in a whisk or smoothie shaker ball to keep it from touching the pot and melting. Keep it in its cotton breathable bag until needed.

You can practice this before things get messy!  Everyone folds their cups differently. I personally picked the C fold. Once it's in place, it will pop open to seal tight. Yes. Pop.

Find Your Fold

I would avoid changing your cup in a public restroom the first few times. I only have to empty mine in the AM and PM and I have a pretty heavy flow. I prefer to empty mine in the shower at night so I can rinse it and have sometime without it.

Flow Time

I am never going back.  After babies, periods can feel totally different. Tampons can feel painful or dry. A cup is a gift that I wish I knew about all along. Try it. Get comfortable. You'll never turn back.
