Postpartum wrecked my face. I have been religious about my skincare for years and suddenly, 6 months after birthing Julia, I looked like a 13 year old crazy person. It was devastating.
A lot of things have gone into clearing my skin back up. Remarrying my routine, seeing a dermatologist, and straight up time. But during this process I found a few items on Amazon that helps me through. Some were recommended by friends and some I found through the grapevine.
I wanted to do a quick round up here.
1| DHC Cleansing Oil
My BFF has been trying to get me to order DHC Cleansing Oil for 12 years. 12. Years. This oil is an incredible makeup remover. FYI! Your skincare is usually NOT a makeup remover. Those are two different steps. I had been using Kopari (which I LOVE) or a Face Halo, but this DHC Oil is fantastic.
I finally caved and ordered it off Amazon (directly from DHC, do not buy beauty products from random shops dear Lord) because all the the attention towards my breakouts was cause serious dryness. Even the Cetaphil cleansers were to drying paired with my routine.
Per her instructions, I leave it on for a few minutes to break up the makeup and then massage for 30-40 seconds and rinse. I find the easiest time is before getting in the shower. I’ll put it on, go run the water (our water takes a second to not be ice), undress, and then get in the shower and massage/rinse.
I should’ve trust my pro-makeup artist, beauty blogger, bff way sooner – but I’m stubborn AF. Thanks for never giving up on me, Molly. haha!
2| COSRX Acne Pimple Stickers
I am a chronic picker. In my sleep, without noticing, all day, usually blood situation picking my face. It’s horrible and I would love nothing more than to stop, but I don’t even know I’m doing it.
I saw these COSRX pimple stickers on Cupcakes & Cashmere I believe, and then on another blogger on IG Stories (forgive me I have no clue who), and finally ordered them.
They are an awesome Amazon beauty score! I don’t even know if they really work to erase a pimple, but they stick on tightly and are barely noticeable and then I don’t pick my face!!!! Amen!!!
These tiny clear bandaids even stay on through out the night, and they are pretty cheap. So, I don’t mind using them. If you are a TV or computer watching picker, get these to get your little grubby fingers off your face.
These Amazon Beauty Finds are great additions to your skincare routine. They are going to solve everything unless you already have great skin. If you’ve tried any of these out let me know! I love hearing how products work on different people!
