I have been trying to write this letter to you for weeks. I write a sentence, it feels pushed, I delete it.
There’s so much to say, and the words feel cliche, so excuse my attempt to express how incredible you make the world.
Every day feels like a day that I meet you for the first time. Every day feels like I can’t even imagine how there was a time you weren’t here yet.
I don’t know why you carry every toy in your room into my bed at 6am. I don’t know why you love cottage cheese. I don’t know where you got your unbridled confidence from when you sing. I have zero clue how to harvest that, and ensure you carry that zest with you for life.
Every day I worry I might mess up your absolutely perfect soul. Every day I try to make sure I show you how important kindness is. Every day you hold an unknowing mirror up to me and tell me to level up.
There is nothing better than when you talk about your day. There is nothing better than your street style. There is nothing better than when you make up songs. There is nothing better than when you laugh at your own jokes. There is nothing better than when you tell me the schedule you have for the day. There is nothing better than your bright eyes.
I never imagined that your personality would be so pure and solid at 3 years old. I never imagined that I would just want to stare at you. I couldn’t have imagined what it would be like to watch you grow, and learn, and thrive.
Three years ago I was so sure I could control the world. Today, I know I’m just hanging on for the ride; doing my best for you.
You make me a better human every single day. You brighten the lives of so many by just being you. Every day I pray that all my days are filled with you.

If you are looking for a special occasion dress for a sweet girl, these dresses are unreal. The one photographed is currently on sale from their Fall/Winter collection, but Reegan called it the Elsa Dress and we all melted. David Charles was incredibly kind to send it over; and it became her favorite princess dress immediately. These are luxury items, but incredibly well made and a wonderful hand me down for a family dress, or for a flower girl. I’m hoping to do a giveaway with them soon!
Reegan is 37.5″ tall and 29 lbs and wearing a size Year 4. It’s a little big on her, but I wanted her to be able to wear it for a while.
