Like you, I have been seeing bloggers review Amazon pieces nonstop. I became curious if the hype was real or pushed.

I ordered a few things a while ago and wanted to use them for a few months before sharing.

To start… I’m about to get real about underwear.Mae Brand seamless underwear from Amazon Fashion

When I posted about underwear on Instasories the crowd was split.

Half of you are like me and wait until the threads are falling out and the elastic is broken to replace your intimates. And the other half religiously replaces their underwear EVERY 6 months. This blew my mind.

If you replace your underwear every 6 months, I have questions:

• Is it because they fall apart?
• What happens to the old underwear?
• Are you just drowning in cotton briefs?
• Are their underwear trends?

I need to know more…

Mae Brand Women’s Seamless V Thong (5 pack)

 Currently $20

These I like. They wash well, don’t color bleed in the wash, and I wear them regularly. I’m pretty picky about underwear, but these are very soft. They don’t bother or bunch, and they feel like nothing. I know some women hate thongs with a passion, but I always prefer them during the day. I have always had a bubble butt, and full butted underwear gives me wedgies constantly PLUS they show through my clothing.

There is nothing I hate more than underwear lines. It’s avoidable. Make it stop.

I’d buy them again. I love the GAP thongs, but these are cuter.

Mae Brand Women’s Modal Cotton Triangle Bralette

I wear this bralette regularly and loved the lace detail. At first, I wore it under t-shirts, but I have pulled the triangles to the side so many times that my boob will fall out of the triangles and I won’t even notice. I probably could’ve sized down, but my boobs change size throughout the day with nursing.

In all honesty, it’s not made for any kind of actual cup size. I’m fine with it because I’m nursing, and I sleep in bralettes at night since I co-sleep and night nurse (and don’t feel like dealing with a shirt) so this serves the purpose of holding in my bamboobies.

Washes well. Straps stretch out a little. Lays well. No support.

 I paid $18 for this bralette… But it’s on sale for $7.20. :::deep breath::: For $7.20 it’s worth every penny for it’s purpose. I was originally going to say that I wouldn’t buy it again because I love the aerie bralettes more and those were cheaper, but for $7? I totally would get it again.

Mae Brand Women’s Lace Waistband Cotton Hipster Panty (3 pack)

OMG these are less now too. Regardless, they are crap. SKIP THEM.

I had been wearing GAP Body underwear for a long time and desperately needed new night time underwear. Night time underwear would preferably be postpartum high waisted cotton Hanes, but because I’ve been with my husband 10 years – I’m kind, so I got ones with a lace trim. FAIL. These are rough cotton. The lace is the softest part. S K I P.

After this fail, my new FAVORITE night time full-butted underwear is actually from Costco. A friend Instagram Storied about these and because I love a Costco trip, and hated the Amazon ones, I headed to the store.

This Splendid 6 pack is life changing. I wish I had bought a set of back ups. They fit true to size and the pack was $9.99 in store! YES!! They also wash great and don’t bunch.

If you don’t have a Costco card, hilariously enough here they are on Amazon for currently $17.99

All in all. Skip the Mae Brand and head to Costco, Aerie, or your local GAP.
