When the Instant Pot graced our counters, and the egg bite thing arrived, all we could think about was Peanut Butter Brownie Bites. We needed to figure it out, but up to our standards.
We tested it over and over, Reegan deemed herself “the official tester”. These mini desserts disappear over night.
Peanut Butter Brownie Bite Bombs
Jump to RecipeThere is something about peanut butter and gooey allllmost under cooked brownies that sets your brain (belly?) on fire in the best way. These babies are a hit and I can’t wait for everyone to try them.
Luckily an egg silicone tray only makes 7 at a time, or holy cow. The brownie mix is enough for 21 bites, and the frozen peanut butter balls will make about 30.
Throw the extra peanut butter balls in a freezer Ziploc bag for later.
We store the raw brownie mix in a glass Tupperware for 2-3 days in the fridge to spread the treats out over time. Having more than 7 on the counter means either I’m eating them or my toddlers are begging for them.

Peanut Butter Brownie Bites
Peanut Butter Brownie Bite Bombs | Instant Pot Dessert
Equipment
- Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker
- Egg Bite Silicone Tray
- Trivet
- Tin Foil
Ingredients
- 1 Boxed Brownies of choice with listed ingredients (ours was 2 eggs, oil, and water)
- 1.5 cups chunky or creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup water
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
Making The Peanut Butter Filling
- Combine ingredients in a large bowl; Mix well
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper
- Roll Quarter-sized balls and place them on the line baking sheet
- Freeze for at least 30 minutes
Making the Peanut Butter Brownie Bites
- Mix Brownie Mix according to box in medium bowl
- Spray egg bite silicone tray with cooking spray
- Fill the silicone cups 25% of the way with mixed raw brownie batter
- Place frozen peanut butter balls individually in the cups
- Cover the peanut butter balls with more brownie mix, filling the silicone cups 75% of the way. Allowing for baking space.
- Cover the silicone tray loosely in tin foil
- Place the trivet in your Instant Pot with 1 cup of water
- Place filled silicone container on the trivet
- Close and seal the Instant Pot top
- Press Pressure Cook/Manual for 22 minutes on high.
- Allow Instant Pot to naturally release for 10 minutes
- Quick Release the Instant Pot and carefully remove the silicone tray from the trivet/Instant Pot
- Allow to FULLY cool in silicone tray
- Once fully cooled, flip the silicone tray upside down on to a plate and gently pop out the Peanut Butter Brownie Bite Bombs
