My actual day-to-day job is in Fashion & Events PR, and I absolutely love it. I have been working behind the scenes for years, but this Fashion season I got to travel back on site since, for the first time in 3 years, I am not growing or nursing a new human. With that came a lot of packing. New York. London. Paris. All in a month, with only a quick trip home towards the end of the month.

And for London, I could only bring a carry-on.

I know, it’s really tested my minimalist desires.

So, what made it into those tiny bottles?

1| DHC Cleansing Oil I have talked about this make-up and grime removing oil before, and I’m seriously addicted. I filled two mini bottles of this stuff just in fear I would run out in a month. Not even close. I’m still halfway through only one. I was being super dramatic. But that’s the level of commitment I am at. A little goes a long, long way. Put it on your face and let it sit for a minute. It’ll break up all the makeup and remove the grime from your skin without being rough.

2| DHC Olive Oil Traveling sucks your skin dry. I like this oil for morning and night. Plus I can dab it on my lips as a gloss and smooth out my hair with any excess on my hands.

3| Murad TonerI brought a different toner with me at first because I was out of this, and man oh man I regretted it. I went to Sephora mid-trip and grabbed this toner because I missed it so much. My cheap butt was trying to avoid the $60 price tag, but you get what you pay for.

4| Dry Bar Shampoo + ConditionerThis was a happy fluke purchase. I was at Ulta buying a tiny dry shampoo and this travel kit was on the counter. I couldn’t resist. I have LOVED everything in it. I had never tried dry bar shampoos, but it gets my hair silky clean.

5| Living Proof Dry ShampooI recently caved to one of those blogger codes that gets you a free dry shampoo with a $28 order (I see you Living Proof with $24 products and as $28 minimum. You are fooling anyone), and now I’m hooked on a ridiculous dry shampoo. It makes my hair look so good. I don’t understand its voodoo magic. Try it and hate to love me later.

6| Murad Prebiotic 4 in 1 Face Cleanser This was part of the PR kit I received with the toner and it’s just light creamy goodness. And the bottle lasts FOREVER. I have had it for at least 4-5 months and I have a ton left. I use this in the AM or as my second face wash. DHC first to remove makeup and then this to soak in the goodness. This is also a great one for the AM, when you don’t need a deep cleanser but want a boost in the glow section.

7| Neutrogena Hydroboost City ShieldMy derm got me on this $18 moisturizer. She told me about one that was $100/bottle and then said “Or you can get this Neutrogena one. It’s basically the exact same thing.” Um, yeah. I’ll do that. I’m on my 3rd jar because I slather my entire face, neck, and chest (ok and shoulders) with it every single morning as soon as I wake up. I can’t last 5 minutes without wanting to apply it. Murad has a similar option without SPF, as well.

8| Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask – I got the mini of this to try it and it’s great. It’s really a thick moisturizer you don’t rinse off. It just soaks in. I loved it after a long flight, or about to fly that day. Wash, toner, and all the moisturizers within a 10 ft radius. The mini is plenty. Warning: If you open it on the plane the cream will come out with pressure. It’s a metal tube. I would avoid that.
